TET stakeholders meet at the 2023 Immigration Summit

The “Support initiatives available to temporary foreign workers in Quebec” workshop, held on October 3 during the 2023 Immigration Summit organized by Immigrant Québec, was an opportunity to bring together various players involved with temporary foreign workers in Quebec. 

Naomy Rendon, coordinator of the PTET Temporary Worker Program at the Centre d’aide aux familles latinoaméricaines, Fernando Borja, director of FERME Québec, Marie-Pier Lemire, assistant director of the Projet d’accueil et d’intégration solidaire (PAIS), Felipe Gonzalez Lugo, consul in charge of Consular Protection and the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP) at the Mexican Consulate in Montreal, Caroline Dufour, coordinating lawyer at Justice Pro Bono, Daniela Radu, Director of the Prevention Department at CNESST, and Iris Julissa Hengstenberg Delgado de Gros, Consul General of Guatemala in Montreal, spoke about the services and efforts deployed to support temporary foreign workers in various situations in their lives.
